Klein Paradys - Warmbaths. June 2003

The stay was very nice. Luckily, during our stay, it was full moon time. Each evening we would watch this incredible "moon rise" over the Kranskop mountains about 20 kilometres away.

The resort is a game farm and as such, walks are available around the park. We went on a number of walks which take you over moderate mountains and into lovely bush. We did not see much game apart from animals on a plain in front of the resort. However, it was very nice.

The resort does have a swimming pool and trampoline. There is also nice and clean ablutions, however, on the weekend we were there, they seem to have had some plumbing problems with one of the ablutions.

Would we go there again? Yes I would. We however are not campers that keep returning to a specific spot. We like to try as many caravan resorts as possible. So it may be some time before we return. I would definitely like to try Klein Paradys near Brits as well. I have heard so much about them.

Anyway, as usual, here are the photo's. Click on them for enlargements:

Here is an overview of our site. As you can see, it was a very nice site. The tree was brilliant. Although during winter while we were there it was not so necessary for a tree, I can only imagine it being a blessing in Summer. Overall, the camp is very well treed.
This is a photo of the rest of the camp and the swimming pool off to the right.
This was our view out over the farm in front of us. Looking at the bottom photo, these antelope we just a bit further down on the farm. What was very nice is that one could walk almost at will around the farm and get quite close to these and other animals. Not many places you can do that now.
Here, my son is walking on a trail round the back of the farm. As mentioned above, there is true African bush here and thoroughly enjoyable

Until next time, keep well and happy holidays.
