Punda Maria Camp

This camp site was wonderfull. It is a realy small camp and not rush rush like Berg en Dal, Skukuza or the like. It is set on the side of a hill. The camp sites are at the bottom, but the shops, restaurants and challets are terraced up the side. The view out from the restaurant area is lovely.

Punda Maria now has a swimming pool which is very nice. The photo on the right is from the top of the hill that the chalets and reception are built on. Awesome view as well.
This is the bird hide and the watery bog out in front. We saw many birds and an elephant and Buffalo.
This is Punda Maria rest camp. The Chalets are the original ones built back in 1903 or somewhere there. Sorry, can not remember the exact year, but many years ago.
They also have a tented camp and these are some photos on the left

Until next time, keep well and happy holidays.
